The literal translation of "ja ban bae" (呷飽未 / 吃飽沒) is "have you eaten yet?"
Back in the days, life was tough and people often did not have enough to eat. Asking whether somebody had a meal yet was the way to show that you care about their well-being. Today, it is still widely used as a general greeting, especially when receiving guests at home.

There are some flavors that I simply can't find outside of Taiwan. I want to recreate them, tell their stories, and share it with everyone because these are flavors that I love.

Some of the flavors might be from the night markets. Some could only be found during festivals or at wedding banquets. Yet others that only exist in Grandma's kitchen.

We have so many stories we want to share, about who we are, about who our team members are, about the values and statement we all believe in together as a team.
